General Attendee Policies
To ensure a safe environment for all patrons, the Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc. Officers and Board of Directors have approved the following polices to be enforced during the Walworth County Fair and/or non-Fair events held at the Walworth County Fairgrounds. To maintain a family atmosphere at such time, Walworth County Fair Security, City of Elkhorn Police Department and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department have been directed to act as agents to enforce these policies on behalf of the Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc. Officers and Board of Directors.
Please Be Advised:
- Persons entering the facility assume all risks incidental to the event.
- The Walworth County Fair reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating any law, rule or policy.
- Persons also are subject to potentially having their image and/or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or publicity purposes in Fair or media photography, video, broadcasts and/or webcasts.
- Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all times.
- Acts, events, and show times are subject to change.
- The Walworth County Agricultural Society Board of Directors reserves the right to enact policy changes at any time.
Smoking:
- Smoking, including e-cigarettes/vaping, is not allowed in any indoor facilities, tents, grandstand, Barnyard Adventure, and any other designated area.
Disruptive Activity:
- Disruptive behavior is not tolerated at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.
- The Walworth County Fairgrounds authorities reserve the right to refuse permitting any off-road vehicle from being used on the Fairgrounds during the Fair and/or any event on the Fairgrounds.
- Any individual(s) who engage in unlawful activity, such as intimidation, flashing signs, engaging in criminal activity and/or committing overt acts to cause disruption or incite disorder while attending the Walworth County Fair or non-Fair events will be removed from the event. Individual(s) may be cited, including criminal charges, if applicable.
Security:
- All containers, packages, persons, and vehicles are subject to search upon arrival at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.
- The following items are NOT allowed to be carried in and/or brought into the Walworth County Fairgrounds by patrons; including, without limitation:
- Alcohol.
- Contraband and/or illegal weapons of any kind.
- Illegal drugs and/or controlled substances.
- Dogs and/or pets are not allowed, with the exception of ADA service dogs, and unless they are part of a Fairgrounds-authorized act or exhibit.
- Golf carts/ATVs/UTVs not currently registered with the Fair Office, bikes, foot-powered or electric scooters, hoverboards, skateboards, Frisbee and/or other disks (unless part of an official contest), kites, and/or rollerblades.
- Any other items deemed unsafe and/or inappropriate by Walworth County Fairgrounds officials.
General Attendee Violations:
Failure to comply with any Walworth County Fairgrounds policies will result in immediate ejection from the Fairgrounds, and/or further penalties, financial and/or otherwise, as determined by Walworth County Fairgrounds Officials.
All decisions of the WCAS Board of Directors are final.
Ticket Terms of Use
The code on each ticket allows redemption of the item described, and it will be scanned for authenticity. Do not make additional copies of your ticket(s); duplicates will be rejected. Purchase of tickets by a third party is not authorized and carries a risk of being fraudulent. Event reserves the right to require photo ID for entry. Tickets are a revocable license to fulfill items, entry, or services. Management may, without refund, revoke this license and refuse admission or redemption for non-compliance with these terms or for disorderly conduct. Unlawful sale or attempted sale subjects tickets to revocation without refund. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, lost, stolen or counterfeit and so are void. You voluntarily assume all risks whether occurring prior to, during and after this event. You agree to release the organization, facility, participants, TIXR and their respective affiliates and representatives from responsibility and related claims. You grant unrestricted license to use your image or likeness in photograph or video by the event and its respective agents.
Refunds, Disputes & Cancellations:
By proceeding with a purchase from Walworth County Fair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this disclosure regarding refunds.
Please note that all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds unless otherwise stated explicitly by Walworth County Fair or as required by law. This policy applies to all ticket purchases made through our website or any authorized ticketing platforms. Walworth County Fair recommends acquiring tickets only through our authorized platforms and does not guarantee authenticity for tickets purchased, exchanged or otherwise obtained through unauthorized platforms.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending an event. However, due to the nature of event planning and logistics, we are unable to accommodate refund requests, including but not limited to:
- Change in personal plans
- Travel disruptions
- Inclement weather
- Artist or performer lineup changes
- Venue changes
Disputes or Chargebacks:
Disputing charges processed by or on behalf of Walworth County Fair including by its partner, TIXR, may result in being blacklisted (banned) from future purchases and should not be used a method for obtaining a “refund."
Cancellations:
In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling of the event by Walworth County Fair, ticket holders will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements or refunds may be offered at our discretion.
