Walworth County Fair Presents the $5000 Pinewood Derby Showdown! Not A Scout, Not a Problem! Sponsored by Advanced Auto Clinic Delavan!

This exciting event is not just for Scouts; but any kid age 5 to 17 years old, along with a mentor partner, is welcome to participate. With a total prize pool of $5000, the competition is fierce and the rewards are enticing. The youth participants have a chance to win big! We even have a Mentor Race Class!

PRIZES:

Youth 1st Place: $1,400.00

Youth 2nd Place: $700.00

Youth 3rd Place: $300.00

Youth 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize money awarded for each age category, which includes ages 5-10 and 11-17.

Mentors, aged 18 and above, also have a shot at the glory with a $100 cash prize. It's an event that promises thrills, rewards, and friendly competition for all Pinewood Derby enthusiasts!

Preregistration is required, online or due at the Fair Office by 5:00 PM CST Tuesday, August 15, 2025. No exceptions All registered youth will receive a FREE admission ticket to the 2025 Walworth County Fair.

Pinewood Derby Showdown races start at Noon on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Assigned check-in times:

8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

No late drop offs allowed.

The Mentor Pinewood Derby is open to individuals aged 18 years and above that are registered as part of a team participating in the Walworth County Fair's youth Pinewood Derby. Participants must register and comply with all event requirement
